Afternoon, we will start the tours of the Peacefull city of Aswan

• Meet your guide and driver. Your first stop is the Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel completed in the 1960s. The dam, which controls the flow of the Nile River and generates hydroelectric power, is a vital part of Egypt's infrastructure. As you stand on the dam, take in the impressive views of Lake Nasser on one side and the Nile River on the other. Your guide will explain the history, construction, and significance of the dam to Egypt’s economy and environment.
• Next, proceed to the Temple of Philae, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The temple complex was relocated to Agilkia Island to save it from the rising waters of the Nile after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Take a short, scenic boat ride to the island, where you’ll be greeted by the majestic sight of the temple rising from the water.
• Explore the enchanting Temple of Philae, with its magnificent columns, detailed reliefs, and beautiful courtyards. • For those who choose to visit the Abu Simbel Temples, an early start is essential. Depart from your Dahabiya in Aswan in the early morning, typically around 4:00 AM, for a comfortable drive to Abu Simbel. The drive takes approximately 3 hours through the desert landscape.

Visit the Abu Simbel Temples

• Arrive at the monumental Abu Simbel Temples, two massive rock temples originally carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. • After exploring the temples, begin the return journey to Aswan, arriving back around midday. Enjoy lunch and some rest on board your Dahabiya before continuing your adventure.

Sail to Kom Ombo

• After a relaxing break and lunch on board, set sail in the early afternoon towards Kom Ombo. Enjoy the scenic views of the Nile River as you glide along its tranquil waters.

Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo

• Disembark from your Dahabiya upon arrival at Kom Ombo. The temple is conveniently located near the riverbank, making for an easy and pleasant walk to the site.
• Visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, the falcon-headed god. This symmetrical temple features twin entrances, halls, and sanctuaries for each deity.
